I appreciated that my room had a small terrace. Shimogyo Ward district certainly deserves to be visited. Best ryokan experience.

Of course, would recommend. We really enjoyed hotel's rooms and comfort. There's a huge variety of restaurants to choose from, like Sushi Iwa, set within 5 minutes walk or so.
